The standard we aim for
Public pages aim to meet WCAG 2.1 AA. We prefer 2.2 AA where we can. That includes text contrast, keyboard use, visible focus, labels on inputs, a skip link, and respect for reduced motion.
Known issues
Apple Wallet and Google Wallet files are not issued until signing certificates are in place; the invitation page and calendar file are the accessible path today.
Some invitation layouts use decorative photography with empty alt text inside a labelled card. Guest-uploaded photos are labelled with the writer’s name.
Public marketing pages are covered by an axe-core check (`npm run test:a11y:axe`). A full keyboard and screen-reader pass on invitation, RSVP and guestbook journeys is still a hand-off item.
